as i’ve been rereading the hunger games i’m more and more convinced katniss is autistic. i don’t think this was on purpose i think her inability to realize when people feel things for her, her in depth description of yearning for comfort routine and her description of her world was meant to paint her as the “not like other girls” character but there are so many moments where i recognize elements that just make sense when you look at her through the lens of an autistic experience

People need to realize Snow had to be pretty. Tom Blyth is the perfect cast, in the beginning of the book he could only count on his beauty for people to trust him. That's why as he got older Katniss notice that he got fillers, he kept taking care of his beauty because he knew the importance of charm (and that's why tributes gets dressed for the interviews etc) it's a some kind of "halo effect"

I love the look Finnick gives Katniss and Peeta in catching fire when Peeta almost dies and Finnick realises they actually love each other and he's just looking at them like "so y'all fw each other fr fr?"
